    • Petratex uses the best feathers and down on the market from two different species:

  • THE DUCK: The common duck is the best known of the waterfowl, and there are several species spread across many countries. Some species that live in cold climates produce high quality down.

  • THE GOOSE: Geese produce a high quality down.

    • Synthetic filling or paste is a good alternative to using feathers and down. The filling paste has good thermal insulation, and works very well in harsh environments, namely high humidity environments.
