PAD PRINTING

Pad printing is a printing technique that uses a silicone pad to transfer ink from an engraved plate to the garment.
This technique has gained immense prominence in the textile industry (especially for printing inner labels, logos, and small details) due to its efficiency and ecological benefits.

Ecological and Sustainable Advantages

  1. Elimination of Fabric Labels (Less Waste)

Direct Replacement: Pad printing allows for printing washing and size instructions directly onto the fabric ("tagless").
Waste Reduction: Eliminates the need for satin ribbons, polyester, or woven labels, reducing material scraps and textile waste in production.

  2. Very High Efficiency and Low Ink Consumption
    Precise Transfer:
The silicone pad transfers the exact amount of ink needed for the design, without excess.
No waste from washing: Unlike conventional screen printing, which requires frequent screen washing and generates ink-containing wastewater, pad printing uses sealed cartridges that minimize evaporation and ink waste.

  3. Reduced Energy Consumption
Fast drying: It can air dry or requires minimal heat exposure, drastically reducing the factory's carbon footprint and electricity consumption.

  4. Use of Eco-Friendly and Safe Inks
Sustainable formulas: The evolution of the sector has led to the development of water-based pad printing inks or those free of heavy solvents, phthalates, and PVC.
International certifications: OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), ensuring that the final product is safe for the skin and the environment.

  5. Product Durability and Life Cycle
Wash resistance: Pad printing fuses well with the fabric fibers, resisting multiple wash cycles without peeling or cracking.
Intact logos: By keeping the information legible throughout the garment's lifespan, premature disposal of clothing due to lack of care instructions is avoided.

  6. Electricity
    We use only green energy.
