ISO 14001 is an internationally recognized environmental certification standard, which demonstrates an organization's commitment to protecting the environment and reducing environmental impact, following the constant evolution of market demands.
Petratex is a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified company, a world-leading certification standard for organic-produced textiles including both ecological, environmental and social criteria.
This certification ensures that all the production stages, including shipment, meet the highest demands for sustainable product quality and fair social conditions for everyone in the supply chain.
The Organic Content Standard (OCS) verifies the presence and amount of organic material, aiming 95-100 percent, in a final product and tracks the flow of the raw material from its source to the final product. On the other hand, The Organic Content Standard (OCS Blended) also verifies the presence and amount of organic material, from 5-100 percent. Further OCS tracks the flow of raw materials from its source to the final product.
Petratex is also GRS certified which means that we can verify the recycled content of our products (both finished and intermediate), as well as verify responsible social, environmental and chemical practices in our production.
The RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) is used as a chain of custody standard to track recycled raw materials through the supply chain.
The textile industry has become increasingly aware of its sourcing challenges, especially in the use of animal products.
