Upcycling

Upcycling is a sustainable approach to reusing discarded materials or products to create something of greater value or quality than the original. Unlike the traditional recycling process, which involves degrading materials to be reused in new products, upcycling is about transforming or refurbishing used items without them losing their integrity or quality.

Upcycling seeks to avoid waste and reduce the amount of waste that would otherwise be discarded, thus contributing to the conservation of the environment.  In addition, upcycling stimulates creativity and innovation, as it requires reimagining how objects can be reused in a smart and functional way.
