    • Petratex uses the best feathers and down on the market from two different species:

  • THE DUCK: The common duck is the best known of the waterfowl, and there are several species spread across many countries. Some species that live in cold climates produce high quality down, but average quality is difficult to find on the market.

  • THE GOOSE: On the contrary, geese produce a high quality down.

    • Synthetic filling or paste is a good alternative to using feathers and down. The filling paste has good thermal insulation, and works very well in harsh environments, namely high humidity environments.
